First Day ASU Advice for Myself

First Day ASU Advice for Me

So before my first day at ASU as a student I had prior experience to ASU because it was my first choice of schools before being denied acceptance and going to GCC for my lower level college classes. The prior experience included a tour, some visits to the campus, and events that occurred on campus. Also, before my classes started my friend and I went to all our classes beforehand to get a feeling of where to go, and so we wouldn't get lost. Even for our classes that weren't on the West campus, she had some at the Downtown campus and I had some at the Polytechnic campus.
So, the advice I would tell myself would be to take advantage of all the resources at ASU as early as possible. There are many services available to us students and not everyone takes advantage of them so they are definitely open for the taking. For example, scholarships are very limited but not many people either qualify or apply for them so a lot of them are available to be given. My other advice would be that even though ASU is bigger than GCC you can still go to office hours to get help if you have a problem with an assignment.
