I think we all have dealt with not having time to cook, not having money to buy good, healthy food to cook, only having cheap, unhealthy food to eat. This unhealthy lifestyle can effect one's attention span in class, retention of learning from class, and lower grades in class. Also, an unhealthy lifestyle can lead to depression, further decreasing a person's chances of passing their classes. The differences in my mental health, grades, even though they were already good, fitness, and many other things. I know other people have felt the same way and have seen results like I have. I am hoping to help others with their health and college grades with pushing for a pantry with healthy foods for students and staff. There should be limitations on this and can be kept track of with a card check and only allowing 1-3 items per day depending on their status of need or health. I haven't fully decided how I would regulate that but I will be willing to talk to others and hear their opinions. Regardless, I want people to have the best bodies and minds to succeed while in school, as well as beyond.
